I AM LOVED is part of "Reality Bites", a collection of realist paintings, which are full of color and underlying messages. This is part of a series of paintings where I address the prolife issue by portraying children's items. This little T-shirt represents the blessing of bringing a child to the world in spite of the difficulties and circumstances. Life is always beautiful! The piece is painted in oils on linen. This is basically a bright blue toddler's t-shirt hanging on a beige wall with a clothing hanger. The shirt says "I AM LOVED". On the wall, I painted a yellow masking tape waiting for the name of that child.  It is a beautiful piece with a profound meaning.

SOY AMADO es parte de "Cruda Realidad", una colección de pinturas realistas, llenas de color y mensajes ocultos. Este es parte de una serie de obras donde hablo del tema provida utilizando juguetes y otros objetos de niños. Esta pequeña camiseta representa la bendición de traer a un niño al mundo a pesar de las circunstancias y dificultades que esto puede implicar. La vida es siempre hermosa! Esta obra está pintada en óleos sobre lino. Básicamente, pinté una camiseta azul de bebé colgando de un gancho de ropa en una pared de beige vibrante. La camiseta tiene escrito la frase: "soy amado"  en inglés. En la pared, pinté una cinta de enmascarar amarilla que espera el nombre de ese bebé.
