Today I am a mere spectator who only looks around reflecting on my life and the lives of those around me. I have thought about so many things I have heard, because my hearing is good, thank God. I have heard sad things these days…too many. And that has made me think about how fortunate I am. I have a healthy and happy family. I’m not just talking about my immediate family, I’m talking about my entire family. You may wonder, what makes my family special? I humbly think it's phenomenal. There are philanthropists, composers, singers, painters, artists, comedians, poets, writers, photographers, successful entrepreneurs and economists, entrepreneurs, and restaurateurs. We are a whole mix of talents and personalities that make it unique and interesting. We are happy together and we love sharing all events, the good and the bad, the sad and the joyful. Are we perfect? Not at all? Are you? I don't think so. Is it a perfect family without mistakes? Of course not! Do we fight? Of course, whoever doesn't, let them cast the first stone. Do we agree on everything? NEVER!
But we have fun and we make every moment a moment to celebrate the wonderful life that God has granted us. If there is no reason to celebrate, we look for one. We are crazy about music and the good life!!! We make jokes about everything because we prefer to make fun of circumstances rather than let circumstances make fun of us. In bad times, we always put on a brave face to face life and problems with strength and positivity. So to my family, whom I adore so much, I toast today to you and for everything you do to make my heart smile with joy. Cheers, my dear Benedet(t)i, with one and two T's.
